Our Impact

We've positively impacted the lives of thousands in the Orlu region by fostering unity, development, and cultural preservation.

Since its founding in 2010, the Orlu General Assembly (OGA) has become a driving force for unity, development, and cultural preservation within the Orlu region. Through organizing community events and fostering partnerships with local authorities, businesses, and nonprofit organizations, OGA has promoted sustainable development and improved the quality of life for Orlu residents. Guided by principles of inclusivity and accountability, OGA ensures that every member of the community has a voice in shaping their shared future.

What we do

At OGA, we foster collaboration, address shared challenges, and leverage collective strengths to benefit the Orlu community while championing sustainable development through impactful community events, dedicated advocacy, and strategic partnerships.

Community Engagement

Support and Advocacy

Our community advocates for equitable access to resources, supports members, and ensures that every voice is heard when shaping decisions that affect our future.

Awareness Workshops

We organize awareness workshops for our members, covering financial literacy, health and safety, and more, to equip them with essential knowledge they need to live their lifes in the community.

Positive Impact

Through the dedicated efforts of our members, we’ve been able to provide support to our communities back home, including tertiary homes support, women and the underprivileged.

Orlu Senatorial Zone Communities

The Orlu Senatorial Zone, also known as Imo West Senatorial District, is one of the three senatorial districts in Imo State, Nigeria, comprising twelve local government areas including Orlu, Orsu, Oru East, Oru West, Ideato North, Ideato South, Njaba, Nwangele, Nkwerre, Isu, Ohaji/Egbema, and Oguta. Predominantly Igbo-speaking, recognized for its vibrant traditional institutions, entrepreneurial spirit, and its contributions to the wellbeing of citizens of the Zone.
